映画「レディ・バード」からDave Matthews Band の "Crash Into Me" です。
監督のグレタ・ガーウィグ自身が脚本に書き込んでいたというほど想いのこもった曲で、映画内でも大事なシーンで2回使われています。監督いわくこの曲は「レディ・バード（クリスティン）と親友のジュリーのテーマソング」とのこと :))
訳をしてみてかなり難しかったなぁと思う曲でした :(
シンプルであるがゆえに、その言葉に込められた意味を探し求めるのが大変だということを学びました。
この映画の当初の名前は「Mothers and Daughters」。レディバードの青春時代の映画というよりは母娘関係を描いた内容です。共感したり、泣いたり、自分の中でこの「レディ・バード」は大きな存在になった映画です。
