和訳 Need You Now - Lady Antebellum

今回は Lady Antebellum の "Need you now" です。

別れには色々なパターンがありますが、この曲は別れた後いつまで経ってもお互いに忘れられない2人なのか、両想いの報われない恋だったのか.... といろいろ考えてしまいます。

"Guess I'd rather hurt than feel nothing at all" 「傷ついた方が何もなかったより良かったのかもしれない」という歌詞、この一言で相手との何とも言えない関係性が伝わってきます。夜中の1：15、ふと切なさを感じる時間。その時間に感じたさみしさと夜の静けさがまた切ないです。
